Unfortunately the weather hasn’t been on our side this spring and we have had to make the decision to postpone our Walton Hall 10k on Sunday 28th April. 

We’ve been keeping an eye on the conditions under-foot and been in touch with the estate this morning. The tracks are currently unsuitable for a safe and enjoyable 10k. Even with a dry spell, any more wet weather will return them to their current state.  We feel that it would be irresponsible of us to carry on with such poor conditions.

The Good News… is that we have a new date. We shall wait for the sun to shine, and host our Walton Hall 10k 2024 on Sunday 8th September. 

As in previous years, we will start and finish at the picturesque Walton Hall in Wellesbourne. Get fit, breathe in some fresh air and raise valuable funds for Shipston Home Nursing.

Walton Hall is a 16th century mansion set in 65 acres of glorious countryside overlooking a lake. Walk or run the route, through nearby woods, into the village of Walton and back to the Hall.

Enter as an individual, or gather a group of friends or colleagues to enter as a team. When you register you can also set up your own fundraising page which enables friends and family to support you and Shipston Home Nursing. This year we will be offering a prize to the biggest individual fundraiser! For further details, click here

Once again, we will be working with Tempo Events to offer Electronic Race Timing using shoe chips for pre-registered runners.
