Join Elizabeth and her fellow walkers for the next SHN walk at the usual time of 6pm this Thursday 8^th May

We’ll start at The Wykham Arms in Sibford Gower (OX15 5RX).  This is a walk which needs to be done in dry weather but if the weather forecast for this week holds good conditions should be fine.  The route takes us up a tree lined gully (a little bit steep but we’ll take it slowly!) to Ditchedge Lane which we follow for about a mile with great views on either side.  We then descend through fields and back up a gentle climb to Sibford.  

Distance:  just over 3 miles.    Time:  Approx. 1hr 45mins.

We will come across one field with some sheep and there are 3 (dog friendly) stiles to negotiate.  A warning however to anyone who suffers from hay fever:  we go through two fields where the rapeseed is in full flower.

Meet at the Wykham Arms in time for a prompt start at 6pm.

Thursday night is curry night at the Wykham Arms!  (Other options are available for those who are not too keen on curry.)  Please let Elizabeth know (text 07876 681846 or email e_searle@btinternet.com) by midday on Wednesday:
