Nursing

Community Bank Nurses (nights)

You will play an active role in advancing high quality specialist palliative care services and promoting excellence in end of life care. A broad range of effective communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

If you are keen to develop your career within a dynamic team who strive to achieve optimal palliative and end of life care outcomes for patients this is the role for you.

A comprehensive induction process is provided, together with a program of in-house and external training and opportunities to further your experience. 

We also offer competitive basic rates of pay of £16.46 to £25.57 per hour plus  attractive ‘shift retainer’ payments.

This position requires applicants to have a current UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle and is also subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.


Bank Nurses

We are currently looking for several Registered General Nurses (NHS Band 5) to join our Hospice at Home Team based in Shipston on Stour.

We care and support our patients and their families 365 days annually so that we’re always accessible when we are most needed.

A full induction process is provided together with a programme of in-house and external training to further your skills and experience.

We offer very competitive rates of basic pay together with enhanced rates for nights, weekends and Bank Holidays. Travel time is also paid, together with mileage reimbursement and subject to eligibility a pension scheme is available.

Applicants should have:

– 2 years post qualifying experience

– Palliative care experience preferred but not essential

– Empathy, compassion and good communication skills

– Current UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

The position requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Head of Community Engagement & Fundraising

Location:       Shipston on Stour

Part-time:      Up to 30 hours per week with some flexibility for less hours, if preferred

Annual salary: £25,000 (Based on 30 hours per week)

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can maintain and further shape how we relate to stakeholders to create mutual value as we engage with them.

Communications, community engagement and fundraising are central to delivering our goals, and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be key to ensuring that we meet strategic goals of the charity. Our ideal candidate will have communication, fundraising and marketing experience ideally gained in the charitable sector. Being able to build relationships with a wide range of people are key to the success of this role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, and you will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and ‘juggling’ multiple projects.

We`re looking for someone who can demonstrate a good understanding of:

  • Community fundraising
  • Working with major donors
  • Individual giving/direct marketing
  • Working with external agencies and partner organisations to deliver coordinated fundraising and communication plans
  • MS Office

You will be responsible for the management of a MARCOM officer as part of a friendly, dynamic team where you will be encouraged to actively use your creativity to pursue ideas.
