JONNY WATKINSON – NATIONAL THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE – DONE!

When a knee injury looked to be the end of Jonny’s 2021 challenge, he recovered and completed the National three peaks challenge along with George Bird, Charles Reynolds and Josh Bird here they all are at the finish line.

Jonny Said
“It was the toughest physical challenge I’ve ever faced, but certainly one of the most satisfying! I’m really pleased to have completed it for Shipston Home Nursing and the team.
In a finish time of 23hrs 24 mins, we covered 3 mountains, 50K steps, 23 miles, 10K ft total ascent and very little sleep! We walked Scafell Pike in pitch black, in the worst conditions the hiking company have seen so far this year!

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has donated towards Shipston Home Nursing “Hospice care at home” and a big thanks to Active Challenge for putting on a fantastic challenge. If you would like to donate to my fundraising page, there’s still time, here’s the link:https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jw3peakschallenge

Their nursing service operates 24hrs a day, 365 days a year and their care is free of charge to patients and families. They operate through a team of fantastic Registered General Nurses (RGN’s) and Health Care Assistants (HCA’s) who always go the extra mile.
